Yiwen Y. Tang, M.D., H.M.D. and Katrina Tang, M.D., H.M.D. founded Century Clinic in 1988. Dr. Yiwen, a Harvard University Graduate, was a family practice physician. He retired as Medical Director in 1991.

Willem Khoe, M.D., H.M.D., Internist and Surgeon, became Medical Director until 1994.

James W. Forsythe, M.D., H.M.D., a medical Oncologist and Internist, became Medical Director and Owner of the Century Clinic in 1994, and changed the name to Century Wellness Center. Bruce Fong, D.O., H.M.D., son of Yiwen and Katrina Tang, joined the Center in 2000. In early 2003, the Doctors decided to separate their practices.

In March of 2003, Dr. Forsythe combined his homeopathic practice with his Oncology clinic and moved to a new location in Reno, NV under the name Century Wellness Clinic. Simultaneously, Dr. Tang and son, Dr. Bruce Fong left Century Wellness Clinic and formed Sierra Integrative Medical Center. Dr. Tang retired in 2004.
